Ozone Therapy
What is Ozone?
Ozone is a gas. It’s oxygen! It's the 3rd atom of oxygen in the ozone molecule that sets it apart from the type of oxygen we typically talk about (O2). O3 is an activated form of oxygen. What I mean is, because there is an uneven number of atoms… there is an infinity or charge if you will. The donation of the 3rd oxygen atom is process is called oxidation. Ozone is an oxidative therapy.
Who would benefit from Ozone Therapy?
This type of therapy addresses inflammation, pathogens, oxygen utilization, mitochondrial health, and immunity. Amazingly, these are common factors in “root cause” medicine. Virtually any disease that needs work in any of these areas could benefit from ozone therapy.
